Venues

The wedding will take place at 12pm at Holy Trinity Church, Nailsea (map), and will be followed by a reception at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre (map). For details of how to get to both venues and a detailed map showing suggested routes, please see the travel page. The reception will finish by about 9pm.

Accommodation

If you need somewhere to stay overnight before or after the wedding, there are a number of possibilities. Unfortunately, Nailsea itself is not well equipped with hotels, although there is one B&B; Highdale Guest House (01275 858004). Nearby Clevedon (about 15 minutes drive by car or taxi) has B&Bs and hotels, including the Star Inn, Tickenham (between Nailsea and Clevedon, 01275 858836). Alternatively, the nearby city of Bristol has numerous B&Bs, Holiday Inns, Travelodges etc which are convenient. You could try the accommodation search engine on the VisitBristol website. A cheap option is Bristol's youth hostel (on-line booking available here).

The train ride from Bristol Temple Meads to Nailsea and Backwell Station takes about ten minutes and costs approximately £3; alternatively, a taxi from Bristol straight to the venue takes about 20 minutes and will cost £10-15.
